Plastic Shopping Bags
From 1st July 2018, single-use plastic bags will be banned in Queensland. This follows similar bans in SA, ACT, NT and Tasmania.
The ban has been introduced by the Queensland Government in an effort to reduce the amount of single-use shopping bags that end up in our landfill and waterways.
This is to confirm that the following range of reusable bags conform to the QLD Government legislation that is required to be 35 microns or greater
A Reduce/ Reuse/ Recycle message printed on our range of checkout bags that conform to these new laws being introduced to make the product easily identifiable to all users.
We believe this to be an important ingredient to the process of re-educating all consumers that it is not all plastic bags that have been banned
